I´m a design graduate from Scandinavia’s renowned HDK in Göteborg, Sweden. I have recently returned to Sweden from a most inspiring year of exchange studies in product and furniture design at Tokai University in Hokkaido, Japan. Japan is famous for its ingenious simplicity and functionality in design. My experience in this culturally diverse, yet aesthetically close country to Sweden, refined my understanding of the importance of the human end user’s needs.
The variety of work shown here in my portfolio reflects my curiosity in the many fields of creativity and my ambition of becoming a multi-disciplinary designer. I ask myself: Will I be designing products, become an adventurous furniture carpenter or an unsuccessful rockstar? Or will I have the opportunity to work with a team of Japanese engineers to create revolutionary sound toys?
All of it, I hope.
Alongside my studies, I run my own design company (2002~), taking on freelance assignments. In the past, my clients have requested websites, adverts and posters. Most recently, some of Göteborg’s nightclubs have commissioned elaborate interior design projects. The section on Club Interiors offers a comprehensive presentation of these projects I’ve done.
